BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream Review

Hello I'm back again to review about this new BB Cream I just got recently, BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream. I purchased it from Chrystelle Belle as they always have most of the items ready to ship.

So BRTC is a science based Korean cosmetic brand, applied to sensitive skin in a safe and efficient manner. BRTC has developed, certified & patented Blue Phyto Complex from the Blue Flowers of Lavender, Cornflower, Borage, Chamomile (the building blocks of all BRTC products) to soothe and moisturize today's modern skin.

Ancient Romans used lavender's superior detox effects by adding it into bath water, cleansing their wounds. The actual origin of the word 'lavender', Latin "Lavare' means cleansing. BRTC combines lavender and other Blue flowers for its powerful holistic skincare properties. Lavender helps accelerate new cell growth and balances sebum secretion. It also has superior anti-oxidation properties and trouble and dry skin control.

As hormones perform core physiological functions to protect the body from environmental stress and regulate the human body, the plant ingredients extracted from the Blue Phyto Complex perform similar functions. This patented complex protects the skin from UV rays, wind, and other environmental stress exhibiting superior protecting power from environmental damage. Now, let's take a look.

This BB cream is aimed for people with dry, dull and sensitive skin. The product has two size you can choose: 35g and 60g. Mine is 60g. It is a 30 SPF BB cream that helps whitening, wrinkle repair, and covering blemishes naturally. Previously I had the other BRTC BB cream which is Gold Caviar BB cream and it worked great for parts of my oily skin which lasted for a year plus. I have combination skin so sometimes it's really hard. But lately the part of my dry areas beg me to get BB cream for dry skin and I decided to get this Jasmine Water BB cream.

It has a small guide book from BRTC. It has some other jasmine water products they have in store for you. They explain and describe about each briefly in Korean, Chinese, and English. It's pretty useful if you're planning to use all the products in the Jasmine 3D line.

Packaging is great and pretty cute. Purple has been one of my favorite colors and this purple tube tempted me to get it in the first place. The cap is silver and sturdy.

When you open the cap, you see the tube is sealed tightly, proving it's new and never been used before.

Unseal the film, and press the tube slightly. Then just like any other BB creams, use a dab amount on your nose, cheeks, forehead and all around your face and blend it. The texture is watery and not so thick. It is easy to blend on your skin. This BB cream is really good for you people with dry skin because it provides good moisture. It has smell, though I'd prefer to call is soft flowery scent. I never saw jasmine flower before so I can't tell whether it's jasmine scent or not but I can assure you it smells good. It has good coverage too, all my big pores are somehow covered and so far doesn't break me out. It is said to contain jasmine pearls as well. The good thing is it makes your skin looks radiant but natural. Now, here is the swatch.

As you can see, that pea size is enough for one cheek as it's watery and easy to blend so you can spread it evenly on your skin without leaving any residue. The only downside is it only comes in one shade and it might not match all skin tones. I have slightly pale skin so it doesn't look too ghostly on me, but if you have darker skin tone you might have to apply it on your whole face and neck to shoulder blade area. If you have dry and dull skin, this BB cream might be perfect for you, especially if you have fair skin.

My Rating

Packaging 4.5 / 5
Texture 4 / 5
Shade 3 / 5
Coverage 4 / 5
Price 4 / 5

Overall 4 / 5

It is $20 excluding $5 shipping fee on Amazon but you can also get it on eBay. You can also order from Sasa if you live around Hongkong. If you live in Indonesia, you can simply order from Chrystelle Belle.

That concludes my review this time, hope this helps :)
