Koji Dolly Wink Eyebrow Mascara Review

Lightening eyebrows is very essential for gyaru makeup. I've been using this fantabulous eyebrow mascara for a while already and I should've posted this review ages ago but there's always distraction so here it is, finally, Koji Dolly Wink Eyebrow Mascara #1 Milk Tea.

I can't express how much I love this Japanese product because it feels weird having jet black eyebrows while my hair is blonde. It comes in three shades, #1 Milk Tea (copper blonde), #2 Mocca (brown), and #3 Cocoa (dark brown). So I hunted some online shops and finally got the shade I wanted which is Milk Tea.

Normally I don't use eyebrow pencil because I have with thick eyebrows which I just need to shape nicely. But ever since I colored my hair I think it would be nicer to have eyebrows with the same color. And I love this product because its really easy to use and so efficient and it's not time consuming at all.

Let's look at it closer.

As always, I love Dolly Wink packaging. It's always so cute, with the flowers shaped plastic case and there's a beautiful photo of the creator of Dolly Wink series: Tsubasa Masukawa. For those who didn't know, she is a popular gyaru model who appears a lot in gyaru magazines like Popteen etc. She also endorsed some other products like the popular hair color product, Palty. She has her own makeup brand, Candy Doll, circle lenses brand, Bambi Princess Mimi, eye makeup brand, Dolly Wink, which mostly eye makeup products like fake eye lashes, eyebrow mascara, pencil and powder, eye shadow, and also blush on.

Okay, moving on to the product. The mascara bottle is slim and simply cute. The cap is black and white polkadot. It's not big or heavy so I always put it in my purse or makeup pouch on the go.The color looks copper ish. And the mascara brush is soft. I tend to use it as eyebrow pencil too thanks to its size and shape.

How to use it:

1. Swipe your eyebrows with the brush the opposite way of where your eyebrows grow, from outer to inner.
2. Swipe the eyebrows normally from inner eyebrows to outer.
3. Apply the brush as the last coat around the unbrushed hair to make it more even and long lasting.

PROS

- Very pigmented
- Long lasting
- Able to turn black / dark eyebrows to copper blonde
- Short brush and easy to use

CONS

- A bit pricey
- Hard to remove if you apply it too thick
- The lightest color (Milk Tea) is not light enough, it'd be better if they have one more lighter shade

VERDICT

A must have if you want to lighten your dark eyebrows. It lasts all day until you remove it. The color is exactly the same as in the pictures and it does the job well in lightening eyebrows.

Where to get it?

- Sasa

  2. Great review. The packaging is really cute ^^. I see this brand all the time at the Japanese market and I'm thinking about trying out their false eyelashes. As for eyebrows, I usually just bleach my eyebrows because I'm lazy haha. With bleaching I just have to go every 2 weeks hehe. Have a great weekend~

P.S. - I added you on bloglovin dear, hope you can return the favor ;)
