Etude House Bling Eye Stick Review

etude house bling in the sea

People were raving about Etude House's Bling In The Sea line a little while ago. All the products from that line look so pretty and celestial to me with their mint colored designs, that I wish I could get my hands on some of them. I was lucky my lovely sponsor, Chrystelle Belle, sent this bling eye stick from the Bling in the Sea line, to try for review purposes. I got this Proof 10 Bling Eye Stick in Bling Pearl no. 2 / PK001.

It comes in 5 shades that looks glittery bling blingy. It's like a crayon with magical colors. When I unwrapped mine, I thought I got the pink one as there is a pink label on top of the cap and when I swatched it on the back of my hand, it looked pink. But apparently no 2 is actually purple with a hint of pink. I still can't get over the fact that the stick is white, similar to paper glue stick, but once applied on the skin, you can see the color, just like in the above pictures.

Aren't you curious? Now let's see more about this product.

Proof 10 Bling Eye Stick

Volume: 1.3g

Manufacturer: Etude House

-Multiful pearl texture bling tear effect
-Water proof
-Light touching and smoothing adhere
-Tear liner, eye liner, eye shadow 3 in 1

The packaging is a cute mint pen, with a cap. It's slim and light, easy and travel friendly. Once you open the cap and twist the pen, you can see the stick head that looks like crayon with texture similar like paper glue lol.

Can you see the sparkles on the surface? Once you apply it on your skin, you can see the color. It's not sticky at all on the skin. Now let's see the swatch.

I honestly love the color. The pictures don't do justice but in real life it looks so pretty and sparkly. The only downside is it doesn't fill in the gaps, as you can see on the pictures above. It is not fully pigmented, but buildable. I have to apply 2-3 times on my finger to have the color I want, as the original color (with one swipe) only gives me soft subtle purple line.

- Travel friendly
- Affordable
- Comes in 5 different shades
- Easy to apply
- Buildable

- Doesn't fill in the gaps

If you're looking for eyeshadow and liner in pen form, this is the one. It's easy to apply, no palette no complicated brushes. There are 5 different colors. It's sparkly and cute, works well with or without black eyeliner. You can use it as tear liner, eyeshadow, and also eyeliner, depends on your needs and how you want it to look like on your eyes. I have sensitive eyes, but this eye stick doesn't make mine sting, and doesn't cause breakouts for me. You may need to apply eye primer before this eye stick to let it sit longer. Overall, this is my new favorite additional eye makeup and despite its quick and easy application, this product makes my eyes pop out even more.
