July & August Lolabox

Lolabox is a beauty subscription box I subscribed since last July. They have only 1 kind of box, so there won't be cheap box with so-so products or expensive box with better products. I actually first started subscribing another beauty box around May-June, Beauty Treats, which honestly disappointed me big time with the extra long wait, un-professionalism, and not so pleasant products. So I switched to Lolabox simply because of its better quality products and how they always sent all their boxes on time at the 15th of every month. Like every other box, Lolabox will ask you to fill their beauty survey when you first join. The beauty survey will determine what kind of products you'll get. So far I didn't see too much difference from my box with other people's. But so far I'm quite content with what I got from Lolabox.

I should've blogged about July box last month, obviously, but many things came up and I eventually forgot about it though I've transferred the pictures long time ago. So I will have double reviews of these July and August boxes today and show you what I received.

July Box.

When the box came, it was sealed with a cute sticker with Lola logo. When I opened the outer box, there was the real box inside, keeping it safe in its original shape without being crushed. The box design is really simple, all white with orange Lola logo prints.

The theme for July box is natural beauty. When I opened the box, I saw all the items were wrapped beautifully with a cute white ribbon. And there was an intro card inside with all the products list.

This is what I got from July box:

Juara Rice Facial Cleanser  (sample size)
This superbly reviving and refreshing cleanser contains gentle yet effectively botanical cleansing agents that remove makeup and skin dulling debris without stripping the skin. This cleanser evokes the ritual of rice water rinse, traditional in Indonesia as a softening treatment.

Sweet Black Tea and Rice Facial Moisturizer (sample size)
This hydrating moisturizer is rich in vitamins and organic acids, fermented sweet black tea to visibly soften and makes the skin smoother, minimizing imperfections and enhancing overall skin radiance and luster.

Sweet Black Tea Eye Cream (sample size)
This silky eye treatment hydrates and rejuvenates the fragile eye area. Fermented sweet black tea tightens skin and reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles, while rice bran oil helps protect and maintain skin elasticity with natural Vitamin E. Perfect under eye makeup.

Faceshop Face It Art Nails Crack Collection (full size)
A self nail art that is fun and easy to use and gives the look of professional nail art.

Sleek Eye Dust (full size)
These little pots of pearlescent eye shadow are loaded with mica minerals to reflect the light for a high impact finish.

Britney Spears Perfume (sample size)

Black Hair Velcro

Luxola Discount Voucher

Click House Treatment Voucher

Out of these products, I love the Faceshop crack nail polish the most. I got the brown color. The Sleek Eye Dust is one of the Sleek products I include in my Be Pretty Kit giveaway. I got two of them (one being a bonus given from my Luxola order) around the same week and I'm not much of an eye shadow person lol. I already have pink hair velcro so this black hair velcro just sits in the corner. The perfume is pretty nice though, I really like the sweet scent. I was content with July box. With the price of IDR 145,000 (~$15) I got all those products and vouchers. Though, for me it could be better :/

Now, let's move on to August box.

August box arrived faster than last month, faster than what I expected. The theme this month is Brave & Bold. You don't know how much I love red. Though I may list red as my number 3-4 favorite color, but I can't help but stare whenever I see anything red. Red catches my eye, this box is no exception. It just looks gorgeous with simple logo on the middle of the box.

When I open the box there's an intro card as always, introducing this month's theme and the products list on the back. The products as always are wrapped by red paper and white ribbons. Very pretty. It also has an envelope with pieces of papers of details and event invitation to Paula's Choice beauty event. I'm not planning to go so I put it aside.

The products I got this month:

Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Silk (full size)
The most innovative powder foundation. BB Silk Essence technology merged to help cover all the pores from the inside, lasting shine control up to 12 hours.

L'Oreal Paris Base Magique (deluxe size)
The silky, lightweight formula designed to hydrate and protect skin as well as work as primer used to mask wrinkles and uneven textures in the skin before applying foundation.

L'Oreal Paris White Perfect Laser Day Cream (deluxe size)
This all round protection suppresses melanin production at the very source, while defending the skin with both UVA and UVB protection.

Make Up For Ever Sens Eyes Eye Makeup Remover (sample size)
A mineral oil free, gel makeup remover for eyes and lips that instantly removes impurities and even waterproof makeup on the most sensitive eyes, and works well for contact lens wearers. Moisturizes and soothes eyelids.

Skin Junkie Soap Bars
Skin Junkie is an Indonesian body and bath brand created by young entrepreneurs in 2012. The soap bars are made from natural ingredients.

Mini hand mirror and hair brush
These wooden hair brush and mini mirror look cute, especially the hair brush I kind of like it. But the hand mirror looks messy as the mirror looks like it's going to come out of the handle.

Paula's Choice Earth Perfectly Natural Cleansing Gel (sample size)
This exceptionally gentle gel cleanses your skin while preserving its natural protective barrier. Removes debris and makeup quickly and easily, leaving your skin perfectly clean and radiant looking.

Paula's Choice Earth Sourced Purely Natural Refreshing Toner (sample size)
The toner has a distinctive, liqua-gel formula bursting with antioxidants proven to repair skin and stimulate collagen production. It instantly replenishes, restores, and soothes your skin leaving it silky smooth with a healthy, youthful glow.

Paula's Choice Earth Resourced Antioxidants Enriched Natural Moisturizer (sample size)
The innovative formula is a rich, yet surprisingly light lotion that perfectly hydrates your skin while treating it to a potent combination of antioxidants and skin repairing ingredients proven to stimulate collagen production and renew skin cells.

L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Pre-Essence (sample size)
This product has a nice texture that penetrates deep into the skin to dramatically improve skin quality and amplify the effect of any skincare used on top. Youth Code is suitable for all skin types and any age.

So that's all I got from August box. Again, I got the products worth way more than what I paid, and this month they sent me more products. Though the Maybelline and L'Oreal products excite me with their full and deluxe sizes, however I am fooled by MUFE Eye Remover. It's wrapped by plastic case, and inside there's the product box. The whole package makes me think that there's a deluxe size bottle like pictured on the box. But I was wrong.

This is what I got once I opened the box. Yep, 5 sachets of samples of the eye remover lol. I guess I got too many samples this month, which is okay considering I might not use some of the products. But I will try the Maybelline BB foundation and L'Oreal face primer most definitely. And probably the eye remover. For ~$15 range and compared to some of the other beauty subscription boxes, I still prefer Lolabox. I will continue subscribing to Lolabox until I get bored most likely. They also offer point rewards called Loladots that can be exchanged with a free beauty box once you earn enough points. So join and subscribe to Lolabox if you haven't. I just love their fast delivery with consistent services.

So this concludes my post today, thank you for reading :) Questions. Do you want me to review some of these products from Lolabox? Which one do you want to read about?
