Tsukiyo Soap Sayonara Acne & Kappa's Treat Review

Hello lovelies! How was your Halloween? Seems like everyone had fun going all out with crazy creative costumes I wish Halloween was big at where I live but in the spirit of Halloween I also wore cute costume on Halloween and took some photos and sent them to my boyfriend (the only think I did to celebrate it) haha.

Anyway, I'm back with another review, it's another soap brand called Tsukiyo Soap. But I assure you this one is going to be different. Why? Cause all the soap products are vegan handmade soaps from natural ingredients. Most of the ingredients they use are olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, goat milk, and real (not artificial extracted essence) fruits and vegetables. Their products are mainly categorized as face and body soap, and body soap (not for face). Tsukiyo Soap owners are Japanese lovers (like me!) so some of their product names are Japanese like Sayonara Acne, Hime Sama etc. But overall, most of the product names are all so cute and creative. Each soap has different functions and colors. You can see all the products and its descriptions on their facebook and etsy store

The soaps I'll be reviewing are Sayonara Acne (for acne care obviously) and Kappa's Treat (for oil control).

Both soaps came in bubble wrap

My first impression upon unwrapping them was aww so cute! I don't know it's just... maybe the packaging? Or the yellow color? Haha I don't know since when or why (though I always profess my love for purple) but I keep getting yellow stuffs. Anyway, the first thing I did was to smell the soap bars. I love sayonara acne's citrus scent.

Kappa's Treat

70gr/ 2.47oz

Ingredients: Purified Water (Aqua), Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Elais Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Juice, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Food-Grade Colorant (Skin Friendly, Paraben Free), High-Quality Fragrance Oil (Phthalate Free)

The main ingredient for this soap is cucumber, hence the Kappa's name cause from what I learn in manga, kappa loves cucumber lol. It is known that cucumber helps brightening skin if used regularly. Cucumber also helps to control sebum, so usually I use this soap to wash my face in the morning before I go out to help my face stay shine free longer. There's no strong smell on this soap, I barely smell anything which can be good for some people. I notice its effect on my combination oily face. It has the same effect as my usual stay matte foam cleanser, only this one isn't foamy. I love how Tsukiyo soap makes my skin feel smooth.

Sayonara Acne

70gr/ 2.47oz

Ingredients: Purified Water (Aqua), Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Elais Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Citrus Aurantiifolia (Key Lime) Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Extract, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Food-Grade Colorant (Skin Friendly, Paraben Free), High-Quality Fragrance Oil (Phthalate Free)

As lemon is the main ingredient of this soap, it's perfect for people with acne prone skin like me. I've been using this soap at night after I remove my makeup everyday, and I must say that I love the scent (like I mention above) and its effect on my face. Just like Kappa's Treat, Sayonara Acne soap also makes my skin soft. And what's better is I replace my usual acne foam cleanser and facial wash with this soap and I didn't get new acne, also this seems to heal my scars a bit. Maybe I should use this longer to see the effect more ^^ but so far I'm loving it!

What I love from Tsukiyo Soap:

- Natural ingredients
- Vegan
- Soften skin
- No breaking out
- Does what it says
- Affordable

What I less love from Tsukiyo Soap:

- in the form of soap bars

There are other soaps with different effects for your body and face. Some of them are Hydravocado (recommended for dry skin), Bee Queen (good for healing scars, anti aging and moisturizing), Lady Roselle (hibiscus is one of the ingredients; meant to soothe and refine the skin), Milky Way (soften and brighten skin), and many more. Each soap is as cheap as IDR 37,500 or $4.75 :D You can find their products on their facebook and etsy store I'm sure you'll find something that your skin needs. They also offer worldwide shipping. Don't hesitate to contact Tsuki if you have more questions, she's very friendly and accommodating ^^

This concludes my review today. Hope you find it helpful :) Have you tried natural handmade soap before?
