Cleansing has been important routine for me lately, especially since my consistent breakout that doesn't seem to stop. I've used to neglect thorough and deep cleansing in the past, just because I'm lazy and always running out of time when I come home at night. After my recent breakout, I spare my time at night mostly on cleansing. Aside of my acne prone skin, I used to have oily skin that I began using more oil free and matte cosmetics and skincare that apparently start to dry my skin. Now I'm not as oily as I used to be, but I notice some parts of my face is dry and in dire need of moisturizing. But I know I have to be careful when choosing which cleansers to try and use cause I have sensitive skin, and that's why I decided to try Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser.
It claims to be "the hypoallergenic face wash for your sensitive skin". Furthermore, they add,
Now let's see if this cleanser lives up to its claims.
The proper skincare starts from the right hypoallergenic face wash cleanser. If you have skin trouble or sensitive skin issue, start treating the problem by changing the cleanser. By using amino acid cleansing formula which is the main component of protein, instead of using chemical detergent (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, SLS), it keeps your skin moisturized while cleansing your pores. This hypoallergenic face contains hyaluronic acid, ceramide 3 and olive oil to maximize hydration. Low irritant amino acid cleanser will start changing your skin texture from the beginning!
The packaging is simple and all white in a plastic container with pump dispenser and cap to protect the pump.

The pump dispenser. Usually I only use about 1/2 to 3/4 pump as one full pump is just too many product for my face. The pump does a great job in dispensing the right amount of product, no leaking no hassle.
I tried foam cleansers before, I think they're quite alright. But among all the foam cleansers I had and tried previously, this Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser must be my favorite. It is very foamy, and feels lightweight. It's free from artificial ingredients (no alcohol, completely vegan, no paraben, and no artificial pigments). It's hypoallergenic and contains low irritant exfoliating ingredient that's perfect for acne prone and sensitive skin like mine. This foam cleanser is made to suit all skin types. The formula contains hyaluronic acid aloe vera leaf to soothe and hydrate the skin. It also contains tea tree leaf oil to help treating skin troubles like acne. It has slight medicinal smell to me (no artificial fragrance though), which I must say kind of unflattering at first but now that I'm used to it, I don't really notice it as much as before.
It is a 100 ml product, but since it's foam texture, it doesn't take much product on each use. Normally half pump is enough and I've been using this cleanser for nearly a month every morning and night, and there's still much product.
Usually after using makeup all day (a heavy one at that), my skin feels so dry (while oily around my nose) and tired. As much as I love makeup, at the end of the night I notice how yucky my skin is. After removing most of my makeup with makeup remover, I usually wet my face and use this foam cleanser. I don't have to rub my face hard while using this cleanser as it is recommended to just put the foam gently on the face with circular motion without much pressure.
The foam looks so fluffy and soft, right? This is one full pump. Once pumped out, it doesn't dissolve into watery liquid like most foam cleanser I used. It still stays as foam and feels extremely soft on my face. I tend to play around with the foam as well (oh childhood!) cause it's just so gentle and adorable for some reason lol. After enough massaging and circular motion, just rinse with water and my face feels so moist and in much better condition. My skin also feels soft and silky and doesn't feel tight at all, which is a huge plus.
As for the cleansing part, it does a really great job in cleansing, to my surprise cause to be honest I didn't think it would cleanse so well since it's foam and doesn't feel much like cleansing soap. I was wrong though, cause whenever I use toner after rinsing the cleansing foam and pat dry, I never find any makeup residue on my cotton pad (unlike when I cleanse my face with milk cleanser or basic facial wash). Never.
