Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Face Wash, Lotion and Milk Review

As someone who's been trying to get rid of excess oil on my face since forever, I've never really bothered to moisturize my face before. I mean I do apply moisturizer in the morning, for the sake of flawless makeup. But at night, well I only apply moisturizer when I have time or when my brain doesn't fail me. I've always thought and felt that moisturizer or any toner and face wash with moisturizing properties would just make my face greasier.....until I saw patchy flaky areas around my nose and cheeks lately and it looked so yuck especially with makeup on. I still have rather oily nose but plus the flakiness. While my conditioning lotion that acts as a primer helps, but I want something more moisturizing for the night. After looking up online, I found some good reviews on Hada Labo Indonesia Hyaluronic Acid series. I've known Hada Labo since quite a while ago but I seriously invested more to makeup than skincare. The only skincare products I actually purchased are probably pore related products, aside of daily facial wash and oil free toner. But I was googling and found these products on Nihonmart Kosmetik Jepang Online, an Indonesian based store that carries many Japanese skincare products especially Hada Labo. Though I always see Hada Labo products on drugstores but usually I'm more interested in any products when I see them online lol so I just had to try them.

Anyway, this range has been around for a long while and it's one of their best selling products as it is said to be sold 1 every 2 seconds in Japan. How convincing is that? Well, considering the amount of good reviews I read it totally convinced me to try. I got the facial wash, lotion (Japanese toners are usually called lotions), and moisturizing milk. Hyaluronic Acid is known as a carbohydrate occurring naturally throughout the human body. But with age, the ability of the skin to produce Hyaluronic Acid decreases, that is why HA is said to be beneficial and often found in skincare products as an excellent moisturizer. So today I'll be reviewing Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Face Wash, Light Lotion, and Milk.

14 Days Blackheads Remover - B.liv Off with Those Heads Review

Sebaceous glands, blackheads, whiteheads, clogged pores. Those are my main skin concerns aside of acne. No matter how diligent I am with my face cleansing ritual, there are always those oil "plugs" blocking my pores. Since I tried my cooling pore mask, I've been restraining myself from using harsh nose strips. I've stopped using nose strips since last year actually cause they just make my pores even worse. I also tend to break out around my nose so nose strips are simply forbidden. Then how do I usually get rid of my hardened sebaceous glands and whiteheads? I use blackhead extractor to push and squeeze the gunk in my pores, which honestly painful and only make my skin more irritated and normally give me acne the following day. So I can only use the extracting tool as gentle as I can to avoid acne. But pressing the blackhead extractor gently doesn't really clean those stubborn blackheads and clogged pores so I'm always frustrated when I'm seeing my pores. The Skinwatchers pore mask is still my favorite (I still use it twice a week) and it does help cleansing my pores, but obviously it can't pluck the stubborn heads and I still refuse to use nose strips, though Laneige nose strips are much more gentle but again gentle strips can't take all the stubborn blackheads.

I was introduced to this magical b.liv off with those heads by cellnique, a product that promises to remove all those nasty gunk and dirt off our pores. I read about this product on my friend, Sakuranko's blog around last year. At first I thought it was some kind of heating gel that opens up the pores so the heads can be removed easier. But it's actually a cooling gel that claims to remove blackhead and whitehead, keep acne under control, control oil, unclog pores, exfoliate gently with soothing and hydrating properties. With such strong claims, I was hoping this product isn't over hyped and does at least half of its claims. Well, I was wrong cause this product does all of those claims on me. It's a really nice gel that clears up most of my old, deep, and hard to remove blackheads. And it's not painful at all.

Now let's see how this product is able to do all of that. Gross result pictures alert!

Hana Village Mini Haul

It's been over a year since my last haul post lol I'm always so lazy because I tend to just open the package and products I got right away, and photograph the products individually. But this time I got few products from the same store, which is Hana Village, so I got all of them together and decided I can write a haul post yay!

Hana Village is a new online store that carries a lot of circle lens brands, makeup, hair and skincare products like Dolly Wink, Hada Labo, Koji, Liese, Candy Doll, My Beauty Diary and more. Since they're new I guess they don't have many products yet, except for Dolly Wink cause they have almost everything including the new released series as well. I find this store pretty nice as I don't know many online stores that carry mostly Japanese cosmetics with tons of circle lenses, plus free shipping. They also have my favorite circle lens brand, i.Fairy. I actually ordered Candy Doll blushes and lippies but they were out of stock, but communication was great as Hana Village customer service kept me up to date and I decided to change my order to eyebrow mascara and eyelashes with no problem. I got my package in the mail within less than 2 weeks and couldn't be happier when I unboxed it~ ^^

Now let's see closer what I ordered from them.

KKcenterHK Natural Eyelashes Review

When it comes to eye makeup, most of the time I don't really need to apply much as long as I put on cat eyeliner and thick eyelashes. I guess I'm just too used to my dramatic gyaru eye makeup wherever I go that I can't really see myself with natural eyelashes. Wearing natural lashes means I have to tone down my usual thick liner, and that's not an easy thing to do for me.

Today, I'm going to share 2 eyelashes reviews. Both are considered natural looking in my book but I guess one of them from Ardell doesn't look that natural and still have that dramatic gyaru look.

Now let's see how good they are and how I look like with the natural lashes on.

Wedding Dresses and Bridal Fashion Inspiration

Hello guys! Instead of product reviews, today I'll be sharing my inspiration post. I know I should do this kind of post more often with my possibly gyaru inspiration (coming soon). But now, starting with bridal fashion. Why wedding dress? Because... I'm getting married. Haha no I'm kidding. Usually I always avoid browsing wedding dresses because it still felt like so far away and I didn't want to drool over something that wasn't going to be mine anytime soon. But ever since a little while ago I began to pin some cute wedding dresses and wedding ideas on my pinterest. And after my boyfriend's latest visit I guess it wouldn't hurt to look for more cute wedding dresses.

Speaking of wedding dresses, I prefer cute and girlish bridal fashion instead of elegant-like dresses. Fairytale princesses are probably my main idols when it comes to bridal fashion. Materials don't really matter to me as long as the skirt is puffy with some cute decoration like bows or lace. Though long ball gown dress is super cute, but I guess I'll go with short puffy skirt. Thinking of my wedding day, I think the venue wouldn't matter much to me, but the most important thing is definitely the princess dress. I would love to be a real princess for that one day (and will turn back into dirt bum the next day lol).

Here's some of my favorite wedding dresses that I found:

Etude House Play 101 Pencil Review

A while ago we all know Etude House released Play 101 Pencil in 50 shades. I might be a little late to post this delayed review (I blame the long holiday) but I've been loving the pencils since I got it about couple months ago. It's such a lovely product with 5 different textures: creamy, glittery, glossy, matte and shimmering. I picked the glossy ones, no 22 and 25 in red and hot pink. All the colors are so gorgeous I had a hard time picking. Anyway, sometimes stuffing lipsticks, eyeliner, blusher, eyeshadow and other makeup products in one pouch can take a lot of space. But Etude House comes up with this idea of the multipurpose pencils, one pencil which can be used for your whole face. How neat is that?

Keep on reading to see my take on this product ^^

Stila Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Review

Whenever someone asks me which makeup I can't go without, I'd definitely answer eyeliner right away. So when I lost my HG eyeliner, Kanebo Kate Super Sharp Liner, last month I panicked cause I had no backup eyeliner. And the Kate liner isn't available in Indonesia unfortunately. I've been using it for the past year and I didn't want to look for another, and clearly it was wrong of me. I should've stored a backup liner. There are so many brush liners that look like Kate's but after reading many reviews I decided I should just grab the one with higher quality and I found Stila. I've heard good things from Stila products. But I'm quite picky when it comes to eyeliners. I want opaque black with felt tip that stays all day and smudgeproof. From the product name and description, it seems Stila All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner was what I was looking for, though the price kinda bugged me at first. But hey I didn't have much choice and this was the best I could find, so I decided to just order it.

Damoae Treatment Shampoo and Tonic for Dry Scalp and Anti Hair Fall

Many people ask me how I treat my long hair and why my hair is still so thick and long even when I bleached it savagely several times a year. I always tell them that I don't specifically treat my hair and don't do anything special for my damaged hair. People don't believe me. I guess I am blessed with natural thick hair, which I'm so grateful for. But with severe hair bleaching and dyeing, and lack hair trimming (I love to have freakishly long hair cause I feel like a mermaid lol) made me realize I need to start taking care of my hair cause especially since I start bleaching my own hair this year, I do notice I lose some of my hair. Hair strands everywhere around the drain when I'm washing my hair. Either because it's too long, tangled, or too damaged. And just 2 months ago my hair snapped after I left the bleach for too long and now I have spiky mini mohawk on top of my head, which I manage to cover with the side of my hair. Fortunately I have too many hair that it's not that noticeable. The other concern I have with continuous severe bleaching is dry dry scalp. I have almost no natural oil on my scalp. It's just so dry and... well dry, that it often peels and looks disgusting.

And just in time, I got the chance to try the amazing therapy shampoo and tonic specially made to prevent hairfall which also moisturizes and soothes dry scalp and skin. It's a Korean brand called Damoae.

What is DAMOAE? Damoae is made of natural Chinese medicinal herbs that can be ingested, and there for is not harmful to the body. This product is patent proven to increase hair count as well as effectively treat dandruff and has been approved by the KFDA as a hair loss prevention product that increases hair growth and thickness. Damoae consists of 17 natural herbs used in Chinese medicine, including dried orange peels, aloe, and peppermint. These ingredients work together to perform the most ideal medical action on the scalp to prevent hair loss and treat dandruff at the same time. By continuously using Damoae, you can see improvement in the following areas: hair loss, dandruff, scalp itchiness, seborrheic dermatitis, damaged hair, and more! Your scalp will feel clean and your hair will feel luxuriously thick and smooth!

Pretty strong claim? Yes it sounds too good to be true. I've been trying the two products for 2 months now that I can share what I think about them on today's post. But keep reading to see if it lives up to its claims.
